About Our Photographer
About Matt…
Matthew Aponte is the lead photographer and owner of 212 Photography Studios. He started at the age of 16 when he made the transition as an artist, to an amateur photographer with the purchase of his first medium format camera taking pictures of anything that caught his eye, then at the age of 21, he started his first photography gig as a photographers assistant for Herff Jones and then moved up as a studio photographer for the company. After moving off to New York City at age 23, a Bachelor of Science in photography and shadowing some of the best in the industry, his dream of owning his own professional studio has since come true.
